KFI: The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Division of Boating Safety was called to Lake Havasu in western Arizona after an SUV became submerged in the water over the weekend. Police said that two men made a bet over how far the vehicle could get while still driving.

My parents met working on the B1A bomber at North American Aviation. Since purchased by everyone, but ended up under the Boeing name, I think. anyway, old Pops was an angler. They use to get off work on Friday and head for Search Light Nevada. we all know who live there dammit. They owned a Caddy with wire spoke wheels and towed a 16 foot tin boat. They knew the sand washes to take them to their favorite camping spots. They use to tie ropes through the spoke wheel for traction to get to the lake. I have some awesome black and whites from back then. They had quite a few freinds that would meet them. Writers from the old Field and Stream, etc. cool old shit. Lake Mohave.
I got no words for this level of stoopidity.

And the vehicle is basically totaled, gone are the days when you dry out the interior and everything is good as new. Circuit boards will corrode and the electrical system will never function reliably from here on out.
