Why were you kept in the dark?: ISIS Threat in Easton, PA

Clarion Project: Local law enforcement and the FBI are investigating an online threat of an ISIS attack in Easton, Pennsylvania, while some residents of the city are demanding to know why they were kept in the dark.

Authorities, led by the city mayor say those who needed to know were informed in real time while decisions to limit information were taken to prevent general panic.

The incident began on May 5 when one Jafar Saleem (Brendan) tweeted about “several pipe bombs, pressure cookers and nail bombs around the [Lafayette College] campus and plan(s) to inflict the utmost damage possible.”  more here

  1. The people “who needed to know” were informed. You know, the honorable mayor and his family, most members of the city council, members of law enforcement of course, important political donors, people like that. Deplorables don’t need to know their lives were threatened. What do the masses need with that kind of information?

  4. The intrepid Mayor decided that he would disperse information as he saw fit after weighing the threat and bringing to bear all of his politically correct conclusions. It.s not important how many may have been hurt as long as the victims don’t draw any conclusions that might color their views on muzzie’s.

–Actually, PA is an open carry state. The big cities aren’t gun friendly but the rest of the state is. Unlike Texas, we’re allowed to carry our guns into establishments that serve alcohol.
