U.S. Levies Tariff on $50 Billion in Chinese Tech Goods

Breitbart: The Trump administration announced on Tuesday that it would levy $50 billion of tariffs on certain Chinese tech imports, implement investment restrictions, and enhance export controls on Chinese tech on the basis of national security.

  1. Donald Trump doesn’t go along with the usual program of allowing other countries to humiliate the US. The left seems to thrive on it. Guess what Mr. Whoflungdung we had about enough of your shit.

  2. Fifty billions is not a lot of money considering our annual trade deficit with China is all of that plus another half trillion. Anyone seen Shanghai lately? We built that. Ross Perot failed to mention that sucking sound echoing across the Pacific. We need to get out of NAFTA. Mexico and Canada — those “Favored Nations” and “Staunch Allies” — insist on keeping their back doors open to cheap Chinese parts and Chinese roll steel (that Mexico then fabricates). These US-bound consumer goods containing parts from China (or fabricated from Chinese steel), from Mexico and Canada, currently enter the U.S. tariff-free.

China is now using the denuclearization of NoKo as a wedge in their trade negotiations with us and, no doubt, play a shadowing part in our NAFTA trade negotiations with Mexico and Canada as well.

    America First. MAGA.

  3. if you eliminated income taxation and made the federal government live off only tariffs collected then the biggest supporters of tariff increase would be those that deride the move now.
