DOJ Official Tipped Podesta On Clinton Email Release, Shopped His Son For Campaign Job

DC: Former Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik tried to get his son a job with the Hillary Clinton campaign while he was working on the investigation into her use of a private email server.

Kadzik also emailed a “heads up” to Clinton campaign chair John Podesta, warning him when the release of Clinton’s emails was imminent.

According to Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report, made public Thursday afternoon, Kadzik’s failure to recuse himself showed “poor judgment.”

“We found that Kadzik demonstrated poor judgment by failing to recuse himself from Clinton-related matters under federal ethics regulations prior to November 2, 2016.”

Kadzik was criticized for an email sent to Clinton aide Brian Fallon in April of 2015 which read, “Hope all is well with you, [Fallon’s wife], the kids, and the candidate. Let me know if you or someone else needs a great assistant; my 25 year old son is ready for [Clinton].”

The Clinton campaign did not hire Kadzik’s son, but Horowitz determined that Kadzik still should have recused himself from all Clinton-related matters — which he did not.  MORE

  1. Q – How much more biased corruption must be exposed before the Leftists will admit the entire Mueller probe is the farce it is?
A – They don’t admit such damaging truths until there is a wave of people screaming about the situation. (See: #MeToo)

  2. But there was no bias, reaaaaaallly. No seriously! That’s what ABC news said on the radio this morning as I drove to work. (Great classic rock station, but they have stupid Marxist propaganda “news breaks”…) The FBI couldn’t find any political bias at all. None. They also searched for Holsteins in Wisconsin but could not find any. Not one single damn Holstein in the whole state. The FBI is sooooooo competent and not biased at all.

  3. So, actual blatant balls in your face crime/treason/attempted coup from the political class is now just “misunderstandings,” “poor judgement,” and “unintentional.” They need to face a firing squad so this sh*t doesn’t happen again.

Interesting. Wouldn’t that email be in the Wikileaks dump of Podesta’s emails? Or was the “heads up” emailed to a secret Podesta alias?

  5. riverlife_callie, thank you!

I guess everybody was focused on different things when Podesta’s emails were leaked. Nobody had even dreamed of the deep state in October, 2016

  6. FBI since J Edger Caesar Hoover, the original alternative lifestyle dress wearer from the beginning. Many lives, destroyed , innocents jailed and executed. Went from control freak, handed down to another control freak. Forget about the CIA,,,hah! Left, Right, prog, conv, Dem Rep, just keep pulling the lever and hating with your vote. SO we learn for history, have we?

  7. Thank you, Dianny. Work like that is why we are rarely surprised here, and mostly reminded of things we’d already been given a “heads up” about. I’m glad BFH links you so much.

  8. This is not bias.

This is a quid pro quo. A violation of their oath.
Illegal. Unethical. Corruption on its face.

Words matter. More than poor judgment.

  9. Breaking the law is a thing of the past. Law abiding requires good judgement.

And it is clear that showing poor judgement is not a problem.

Run free, you dumb sheep. Run free!

    > They also searched for Holsteins in Wisconsin but could not find any.

Those are just differently documented cattle. Some are registered as Angus. Some as Guernsey. Some as Jerseys. That’s why Paul Ryan wants to “normalize” their “documentation” before he is forced to retire.

Tell that to Julian Assange. (If you can find a comm line that he’s allowed to access.)
