Was this issued by the State of California Circumlocution Department? These regulations and unending “clarifications” addendum and amendments are deliberately designed to entrap and ensnare unsuspecting law abiding gun owners, to make them criminals and therefore ineligible for further gun ownership.
This update was not about bullet buttons. It was about collectors with an FFL to purchase more than one handgun in a month. Collectors like consecutive serial numbers and that fascist law prevented them from doing that.

I have a Featureless configuration that complies to their dumb as shit. Hooking most of my customers up. Mean while our Sheriff says he’s not enforcing any of this shit. Problem is you still need to worry about the wondering State guy. There are “we Will Not Comply” stickers on every road sign in this county. That’s what most are doing. Fuck the CalDoj.
