Democrats are refusing to discuss the economy and trying to create an issue – any issue – which deflects attention away from the fact that they have no solutions for anything. Americans care about the economy; as Bill Clinton proved, the economy is the primary focus for most citizens.
The rest of the Democrats’ “issues” are going to hell in a hand basket. Mueller is finding nothing on Russian interference. Corruption probes are focusing mostly on Democrats. Most Americans (including legal immigrants) want immigration law enforced. Trump’s “evil” policy of separating children from parents is both overblown, and a continuation of what happened under the Obama administration. Most Americans support the travel ban from countries that harbor and promote terrorism. Democrat “solutions” to these purported issues are unacceptable to a majority of Americans, such as open borders, non-investigation of corrupt officials, and allowing dangerous people into this nation.
Trump is a breath of fresh air – a politician who openly loves America, isn’t afraid to call out ignorance and hypocrisy, and who follows the law. In contrast, the Democrats offer up Maxine Waters, Keith Ellison, Nancy Pelosi, and a host of others who treat citizens with contempt and express open dislike for the United States. It doesn’t surprise me that many Democrats and independents like what Trump is doing and what he represents – that’s how he got elected in the first place.
