3 Reasons Hillary Couldn’t Engage with Evangelicals

DC: A former Bill Clinton adviser said this week that Hillary Clinton did a “miserable” job of reaching out to white evangelical voters in the 2016 presidential election.

In three short words, I can tell you why Hillary Clinton’s doomed presidential campaign never had the support of Christian voters: Convictions, Constitution, Credibility. Regarding two of those three words, Hillary has none. And for one of the aforementioned words, Hillary’s posture has been one of disregard, and when necessary, subversion. more

  1. It seems like just last year that Hillary said she wanted to be a Methodist minister. What Happened?

Also, that book about her “Daily Devotionals” by her personal pastor got pulled off the shelves due to plagiarism. What Happened?

It’s almost like evangelicals can tell when smoke is being blown up their asses.

  2. “Hot Sauce!”
    “Basket of Deplorables!”
    “Dodging Sniper Fire!”
    “Like, with a cloth?”

    C’mon.
The woman is constitutionally incapable of speaking with credibility about anything.
She has no convictions because she’s always avoided arrest.

Only the dumbest of the dumb, the pathologically ideological, and/or those with absolutely no morals, whatsoever, could take this woman seriously.

  3. You can fool some of the people all of the time. And all of the people some of the time.
Convictions: Hers are as changeable as the weather
Constitution: Her idea is our Constitution can be interpreted to mean what her Convictions of the day require
Credibility: Her Credibility is inversely proportional to her love of Power. Her unashamed prostitution of her values in her lust for power give lie to her proclamations of Political Piety

  4. Selling your soul to Satan kind of disqualifies you for any constructive conversation; let alone getting anywhere near a godly person. She would spontaneously combust.

  5. It’s laughable someone that evil thinks she has a chance to gain favor with those who know God. Never underestimate the audacity of satanic disciples like Hellary.

  6. I know several never-Trump evangelicals who either refused to vote for President, wrote-in an alternate candidate, or outright voted for Hillary. Last Sunday, our pastor got in a dig against our President by calling him an adulterer. These virtue signaling Pharisees would rather our nation burn to the ground than to admit that President Trump is fighting evil on the front lines to save it. I’ve been frustrated by the Church’s silence on the leftistim swamping the country. Evangelical pastors cowardly refuse to address what is happening by hiding behind the myth of separation of church and state, but when our pastor did speak to his flock about it, all he could do was to trash the very man that’s man enough to stop the plans of the Enemy. Shame on him and all evangelicals that look down their nose at President Trump and against anyone who raises the alarm about where our nation is headed.

  7. Since Hillary has started quoting scripture, here are a few verses for her, and all of us, to ponder on.

Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, moral impurity, promiscuity, idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and anything similar. I am warning you about these things—as I warned you before—that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The law is not against such things. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. Galations 5:19-26 CSB

  8. Yes, it’s true there are a number of misguided, politically and spiritually ignorant evangelicals that can’t see what God is doing through President Trump. Many don’t study or understand The Holy Bible, because if they did they would see many examples of flawed, imperfect people accomplishing great things on behalf of God. David was a horrible father, manipulative and a murderer, yet God used David to create a great kingdom as he worshipped God. Trump is not David, but the point is people aren’t perfect.
We can’t make the mistake of focusing on clueless NeverTrumpers no matter who they are, because Mr. Trump has plenty of support of the majority of Christian voters and leadership. President Trump will more than likely get a second term. Hillary, and her leftist agenda have nothing to counter all the successes of the Trump administration. Despite dim-witted NeverTrumpers, the Trump presidency will prevail.

  9. ‘Noah, of the old Testament, wasn’t chosen because he was the best man who ever lived. He was chosen because he was the best man available.” Donald J. Trump was the best man available. He is doing everything that he said he would do and much, much, more. Dah Hildabeast would have had to do just the opposite of what she said she would do, what with her Alynski opposite speak ailment. Like the good lil Marxist Alynski-ite she still accuses others of what she has done, or is currently doing.

  10. Jet Jaguar, If he’s still your pastor, why?

We are all sinners, so if he didn’t segue into what good Trump is doing despite being a sinner, I’d look for another pastor.

One that only shames a sinner isn’t doing it right because it reeks of holier-than-thou. No one can live up to perfection, not even that pastor, and even the littlest sin needs the same forgiveness.
