Absolutely first rate! I particularly enjoyed the cleanliness of the sound and the absence of extraneous theatrics. Just good, solid … everything. Thanks!

Joe Bonamassa is truly, as Diogenes noted some time ago at her website, a legend in the making. I personally had never heard of him till about 7 years ago- had Pandora on and was literally stopped in my tracks by a song that just mesmerized me. I listened to more samples of his music, and 12 albums later, I guess you could say I’m a fan. 😉 Incredibly, Joe’s awesome bassist lives just down the street and keeps me posted on new projects the band is working on. Joe has assembled the best of the best in his band: Reese Wynans, keyboardist formerly with Stevie Ray Vaughn, Anton Fig, drummer– “The Thunder from Down Under”, Michael Rhodes, bassist, et al. Joe and the band will be playing the Ryman Auditorium (3 shows!) in August here in Nashville. Mr. Vixen and I have tix for the August 9 show. Woohoo!
Incredible. I am a musician my self and I think that the sounds quality of this live performance is so sharp and clean you would think it was a studio recording. Remarkable!!!

So cool, he’s playing blues great Albert King’s left handed Lucy.

Yup, OpenTheDoor…that makes the video for me. Albert King changed my life way back when, and it’s great to see and hear Lucy being played again…this time, upside down!
BTW, that guitar was on loan from Steven Seagal, of all people…

One of my favorites and THE song that started me on my path to Joe B fandom: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cf1nnEpA5fk
