Family Of Justine Damond Sues For $50 Million, Claiming Conspiracy In Her Death

Blue Lives Matter: The family of the Australian woman fatally shot by a Minneapolis police officer has filed a lawsuit seeking $50 million.

Minneapolis, MN – The family of the Australian yoga instructor who was fatally shot by a Minneapolis police officer after she called 911 to report a possible assault in the alley behind her home has filed a lawsuit alleging her civil rights were violated.

Her family has also accused police officials and the officer’s partner of “conspiracy to cover up the true facts surrounding the killing of Justine,” the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported.

The incident occurred on July 15, 2017 when 32-year-old Officer Mohamed Noor responded to the call from 40-year-old Justine Damond with his partner, Officer Matthew Harrity, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported.

With Officer Noor in the passenger seat, Officer Harrity pulled into the alleyway with the patrol car’s headlights deactivated, and removed the safety hood from the holster of his duty weapon.

He said that he heard a dog barking as he neared Damond’s home, and that he slowed the vehicle to two miles per hour, but never stopped.

Approximately two minutes later, the officers approached the end of the alley, and waited for a bicyclist to pass as they cleared from the call.

Officer Harrity said that moments later, he heard a voice and a thump towards the rear of the patrol car, and then “caught a glimpse of a person’s head and shoulders outside his window.”

He said that the person, later identified as Damon, was approximately two feet away, and that he could not see her hands, and did not know if she had any weapons.

The startled officer recalled having said, “Oh s–t,” or “Oh Jesus,” and grabbed for his duty weapon, believing his life was in danger. He said he drew the weapon and held it to his rib cage, pointed downwards.

Officer Harrity said that he then heard a noise “that sounded like a light bulb dropping on the floor, and saw a flash.”  more here

  1. A duty weapon being fired inside a car one foot or so from your head sounded like a light bulb dropping on the floor? GMAFB!

That this tragedy happened as a result of progressive diversity insanity really pisses me off. The other thing about this that really pisses me off is the widespread efforts to lie about it and cover it up and make excuses for a criminal mistake. More than one criminal mistake since I will include the mistake of giving an inadequately trained unassimilated mohammadman a gun and a badge.

  2. Holy shit. It’s about time. I’ve been waiting for this. Except 50 mil is not enough. Ho many more do the Libtard Snow Flakes need to kill. As for the Somalian, I hope some red neck Mxther Fxcker runs into him in a dark ally some night and yanks his larynx right out of his throat. And films him gasping for air as he expires slowly.

  3. Hope her family collects every damned dime plus treble damages. That worthless muslim was not qualified to be a policeman and he was hired anyway. All those responsible for allowing that worthless dumb ass piece of shit satan worshiping muslim should have to pay at least half. Dumb ass liberals who allowed muslims into their community should be forced to pay the other half.

  4. Loco, I see pictures of these young woman. Like Justine, like Steinle. I start feeling helpless. And then I start feeling vengeful. Say the word. The Oath Keepers are suddenly getting a clue. Took long enough. Could be bull shit. Watch the news. It’ll probably come down to you and I, and Uncle Al. I don’t think we are alone.

  6. I too, was surprised by the comments as well. This person had no business being an officer and those that hired him and push this minority quota shit all need to be named in a law suit as well. There was no reason for her death. My sympathy to her family.

  7. The settlement(s) for all the characteristic moslem nastiness must come out of the pensions of all govt officials who promoted and aided the moslem invasion of our countries. Make them pay the costs of their stupidity and see how long they keep being stupid.

It’d be a great day if we can get the lawyers and the bureaucrats at each others throats – “that’s where the money is”.

  8. Well, at the risk of getting myself in some hot water. I work for this department. Was Noor a diversity hire? I suppose so, we have the largest Somali immigrant population in the USA. Did he receive expedited training? No…..he got the same training as everyone else. Do I know what happened that night? No….no more than anyone else does. Is Noor being treated differently because he is Somali? Not that I can see, not yet anyway, but I’m not a prosecutor or a judge and Im not likely to be sitting on his jury. I will say that Bob Bennett, who represents the family, is a parasitic, opportunistic, scumbag. His blue wall of silence spiel is used every time he sues the city, and he sues a lot. This case is going to shake itself out, I don’t know what Noor’s defense is, but if it turns out to be nothing more than a tragic mistake, Noor will be punished accordingly I’m sure. The family will wind up with a settlement from the city, no chance it will be 50 million though.

I guess what I’m saying is that to my knowledge this is not some big conspiracy to cover anything up because Noor is Somali. It may just be a really tragic screw up. I’m sure this will rub some the wrong way but…..so be it.
