IACR: FREEBORN COUNTY, NC (The Albert Lea Tribune) – A North Carolina man who reportedly sexually abused a 7-year-old girl he knew Friday in Freeborn County was charged Monday in Freeborn County District Court.
Joel Callejas Cantor, 25, is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Court documents state Cantor was charged after officers responded to a 911 call Friday from a woman regarding the alleged sexual assault of her 7-year-old daughter.
She reportedly said she came home from work and found the girl with Cantor.
Assistant Freeborn County Attorney Abigail Lambert requested Judge Steven Schwab set conditional bail at $100,000 due to the nature of the charge. read more

Sorry to say, but rapes and other forms of sexual abuse of children by men from south of the border is less uncommon than anybody realizes. In those cultures, the girls are told by their mothers to just don’t tell anyone.
