Toothless “garbage people”: Politico’s Marc Caputo Mocks Trump Rally Attendees, Then Deletes Twitter Account

UPDATE: After nearly 11 hours, Caputo posts an apology.

Breitbart:

Politico reporter Marc Caputo mocked attendees of President Donald Trump’s Tampa rally Tuesday night, referring to them as toothless “garbage people.”

CNN Chief White House Correspondent Jim Acosta tweeted footage of being jeered by Trump supporters and claimed to be “very worried that the hostility whipped up by Trump and some in conservative media will result in somebody getting hurt.” Reacting to Acosta’s remarks, Caputo mocked the appearance of Trump rallygoers. “If you put everyone’s mouths together in this video, you’d get a full set of teeth,” he wrote.  more

  1. And the media wonders why no one trusts them anymore. They did this to themselves. If anything Trump just used their own Alinsky tactics on them and has let them self implode.

  2. We deplorables have every right to disrespect Mr. Acosta and CNN. He has earned our disgust due to his incessant disrespect for our president, his inane questions and me first and foremost attitude. If I was the press director I would have thrown his ass out long ago.
Mr. Caputo your defense of Acosta is ridiculous. Ya screwed up, but what else would we expect from a Politico hack or CNN.

  3. But I guess Caputo thinks it’s completely okay for hollyweird and the lying press to continually bully, lie and spread hate on President Trump. They love to dish it out, but they can’t take it. So hypocritical and unaware.

  4. I aint in no ways tared, keep up the insults and harassment.
It got President Trump elected and don’t look now, there is an election looming, the denigration worked so well the first time at suppressing our vote.
We will turn out in enough numbers to beat your fraud votes, again.

  5. Dehumanizing your opponent makes it
    easier to intensify your attacks
as you keep at it. That’s how the
Left always ends up running concentration camps and ovens.
We know their history and will
    not be taken unaware.

  6. What an arrogant double standard shooting elitist prick. He’d be scrambling for his laptop to run and hide in his little safe space and type about the racism of such a statement were the situation reversed. If he shook his head his single brain cell would bang around like a can of spray paint.

  7. “very worried that the hostility whipped up by Trump and some in conservative media will result in somebody getting hurt.”

Hypocrites. Someone should remind him about Corey Booker and Maxine Waters and how they are instigating violence against conservatives and Trump himself.

  8. Any “journalists” that show up to a Trump rally need their teeth knocked out for an exit fee.

They are the fucking garbage. Know-nothing, make nothing, wannabe elitists with delusions of relevance.

  9. every day it seems we are acosted (sp) by journalism that borders on middle school essays. Really, how stupid can they get? As it turns out, they can get very, very stupid. Then the media business trots the dumbest ones out front and center. Why? you tell me.

Journalism must be just above basket weaving and just below synchronized swimming in ju co.

  10. @charlie walksonwater — What I’ve been wondering for some time, now, is why we aren’t seeing the graduates of The National Center for Journalism, a project of the late, great M. Stanton Evans. Stan started the center (in D.C.) in 1977 and it offers or offered 12-week study courses in professional journalism to students. Students were also mentored by alumni of the center. Wikipedia has a short description of it and its more luminary alumni. I read that it is now a part of Young America’s Foundation (since 2001/02).

Given Stan’s long life as a conservative, journalist and — later — a chronicler of the McCarthy era and Russian infiltration of the U.S. gov’t — I’ve always been surprised to not see more, and more professional, journalists actively working who have gone through the training there.
