Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s record on Tuesday night for her chosen primary candidates was as bare as a Venezuelan supermarket shelf.
The socialist pulled off a stunning victory last month in New York, and is now attempting to parlay that win into helping other leftists win Democratic primaries.
Cortez held a whirl-wind tour of the U.S., stumping for Abdul El-Sayed for governor of Michigan, Fayrouz Saad in Michigan’s 11th Congressional District, Cori Bush in Missouri’s 1st District, and is backing Congressional candidate Kaniela Ing in Hawaii. more
When asked if she thought the loss was a clear rejection of socialist candidates, OC stated, “well, er, um um, ah, look, the people no longer want to give billions to the military, who’ve said they don’t want to build more bombs. Instead they said they want to raise trillions in taxes from Warren Buffet, and give everyone free healthcare and free college. Oh and carbon taxes. Does that answer your question?”

She won in July because she is physically attractive and because the constituents were tired of the old guy, and because the turnout was very low. Not being a white male probably didn’t hurt. She will probably win in November as voters simply pull the D lever, which may be good for the GOP as she stays in the limelight for a couple more years.
Obama knows to keep her far away from him. The RNC should pay for her to campaign with Dem candidates – she is doing a bang up job!
