DC: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez continuously dodged CNN’s Chris Cuomo’s questions about whether or not the Democratic Socialist would support House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi during a segment of Cuomo’s show Wednesday night.
“Well, I don’t think that there’s any one head. You know, we are a collective. This is a movement. And I don’t think parties are ever about one person but they’re about how the contributions that each one person gives to the party,” Ocasio-Cortez stated.
“I believe you. Although it is vague and I also believe intentionally so,” Cuomo responded, calling her out. “If you are to be successful in the general, we don’t want to get ahead of ourselves, but if you win and you go to Congress, there will be a leader of your caucus.
