Nixon Campaign Complains About ‘Sexist’ Low Office Temperatures in Request for Warm Debate With Cuomo.
A top strategist for New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon (D.) called work offices that are overly air-conditioned “sexist” in a request for balmier room temperatures for Wednesday’s primary debate between Nixon and incumbent Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D.).
After accusing the debate host, WCBS-TV, of being too acquiescent to Cuomo’s demands ahead of the debate, Rebecca Katz called for the event hall at Hofstra University on Long Island to be 76 degrees, the New York Times reported. Katz wrote an email to the station, obtained by the Times, saying that working conditions are “notoriously sexist when it comes to room temperature, so we just want to make sure we’re all on the same page here.”

When I was doing commercial carpentry we would go into a lot of office buildings. Most often we would be soaked in sweat yet there would be ladies in sweaters who would be constantly complaining how cold it was.
Is that why Hillary wore Parkas in July? Passed out from heat stroke in the blistering 68 degree weather on 9/11/12? These goddam hothouse flowers can’t cope in the real world, can they?
She just wants to be used to the heat in Hell before she gets there?
Women in office environments tend to wear lighter weight, thinner, and more revealing clothing so that they can put themselves on display and be noticed. Also, in offices, women have a far wider dress code than men ever have. Therefore, if you are female and work in an office and are cold, put on some more clothes!!
I want a list of things that aren’t sexist. It would be a shorter list.

You definitely want the room temp a little cooler when you are making a speech or presentation, especially if there are banks of lights beating down on you.
