The Local reported Thursday that French “far right” (i.e., opposed to mass Muslim migration and French cultural and political suicide) leader Marine Le Pen has been ordered by a French court to undergo a psychiatric examination in order to discover whether or not she “is capable of understanding remarks and answering questions.”
Why this doubt as to Le Pen’s mental competence? Because she “tweeted out gruesome propaganda images from terror group Isis that showed the bodies of people having been executed by the so-called Islamic State.”
And why did she do that? Out of a lurid fascination with blood and gore, or some secret sympathy for the Islamic State’s jihad? No. She tweeted out those images because her party was being likened to the Islamic State in the French media. In a bid to bring the national discussion back to some semblance of sanity, she pointed out – by means of visual aids – that her party was not behaving in the same way as the Islamic State, and not leaving a trail of bloodshed and death in its wake. If that woman has self survival instincts France most certainly doesn’t want her anywhere near the nuclear switch.
Take the test, with an agreed upon evaluator, pass the test. Then declare, “I am not nuts but correct and justified in my assessment. It is the ones that want to ignore Islamic extremeism that are mentally deficient”.

And on a parallel track, this targeting of Marine Le Pen by authoritarians using “mental health” as a weapon to enforce orthodoxy is why it troubles me a lot to hear both wings of the U.S. Incumbent Party speak approvingly of passing laws to restrict access to weapons – firearms – for the “mentally ill”.
This, plus the ever-expanding DSM list of things ranging from eccentricities and character quirks all the way to gross perversions as “mental illness” thereby opening the door to declaring disapproval of same to be legally actionable “discrimination” under the ADA makes me fear for horrible abuses in the near future.

That is immoral- using medicine to suppress an individual. She won’t be subject to a test- they will most likely go for a period of observation. Not too unlike a gulag, or re-training camp, but in a recognized institution.
It is coming here. Data is collected, hoarded, filtered and refined on every living person. And like the chinese pioneers in this, ‘scores’ are being assigned appropriately. Already, we are seeing them appear in the form of censoring and ‘de-personing’ as far as the net goes. Facial recognition will bring it all up in a millisecond. It won’t be too long before those ‘scores’ are what are used to define an individual and what they are allowed to do. At that point, they won’t need institutions for evaluation, though they may use them for ‘rehabilitation.’ And as far as those scores go, if clinton had won our scores would really really suck by now.
