Yep, everyone is a victim…see and hear it everyday. Lately I’ve been seeing people (on tv mostly) that have been claiming they have PTSD. I’ve never been in the military, but even I know PTSD should be reserved for those that ACTUALLY have a valid reason. Soldiers, sailors, dying for our country…having parts of their bodies destroyed….watching their friends die in front of them…not knowing if they’ll be next.
So, sorry Susie in Accounting. Just because someone honked at you, when you were sitting at a green light…does not give you PTSD.

Victim means one who was conquered, in other words, a loser. Yep, victims one and all.

If everyone is a victim, who’s left to be the oppressor? Can victims victimize victims? What is the hierarchy?
Somehow I think the Christian, conservative, middle-aged, white, middle class male may be exempt from all of this, making them the oppressors by default and therefore, ironically, the ultimate victim.

That’s what you’d expect from people who’ve reneged on living life with a higher purpose, let’s call him God. Self-absorption, narcissism, stubborn denial… nothing new to see here.
If God were cynical like me, he’d be laughing at this childishness, but I believe it must sadden Him just how low his creations can go.
PS To paraphrase Einstein, there are no limits to God’s mercy, unfortunately there are no limits to the eternity after Judgement Day. He’s told us this.
