Remember That Our Opponents Are Insane Crazy People

Kurt Schlichter/TownHall: I liked it when the howling loonies started pounding on the bronze doors of the Supreme Court like Brett Kavanaugh was totally going to open them up and invite the freaks in to air their many stupid grievances over a hot cup of Too Damn Bad. I also liked it when Lindsey Graham dissed that silly shrieking harpy as he adjusted his tie and smirked. And I liked it when Jesse Kelly channeled Andrew Breitbart by heading down to the protest with a t-shirt that said “Hands Off My Uterus.” I liked a lot of things about last week, and all of them involved liberal jerks being unhappy.

Their pain feeds my soul.

Now, in the wake of our total victory over the forces of whiny, stupid evil – I’m trying to think of another term to describe people who think the hysterical chicks in The Crucible were the good guys and that Atticus Finch was the bad guy – some voices on the right are cautioning us to be magnanimous. To not be sore winners. To extend a hand of friendship to those who oppose us.

Oh, I’m extending a hand, but only part of one. A single finger. Guess which one.  MORE HERE

  1. How is it possible to forget that our opponents are insane crazy people? They won’t let us.

As for my magnanimity, it’s dangling right in front of their faces. All they’ve gotta do is… never mind.

  2. It’s like the Walking Dead and Night of the Living Dead on amphetamines.
Soros should give it up and open a Halloween Theme Park if he wants to scare people.
    He’s losing billions now! 😀

  3. If these protesters are being paid, all the normal paperwork required to hire anyone would have to be filed and taxes paid. If not, they’re breaking the law. How about we start pounding them for a change?

  4. All of the libs I have known in my life are what I would consider amoral people who are always looking for a way to profit off of someone else’s luck or abilities.

Insane? they know exactly what they are doing.
    Insane people do not.

  6. Insane people that think everyone thinks like them. I’m in a small hill country Texas town, artsy and liberal, and some loon posted a story about how she and her husband saw an elderly man wearing a MAGA hat in the grocery store and they harassed him and her husband pushed him and she posts this on a general town site thinking everyone will applaud them and I could not believe the amount of pushback and how dare you. She ended up deleting it after generating about 300 comments in an hour most shockingly against them. Probably a huge reality check.

  7. Further to what Wambam said at 2:29pm. I had (past tense!) a friend who only had Grade 10 education because she was in the Corps de Ballet with the National Ballet of Canada from 15-25. Then she danced in TV specials and after hanging up her dancing shoes, did some free-lance copy writing. But she NEVER really worked or contributed to her Canada Pension Account much as an adult. So when she retired, she had a very small pension and could only afford a basement apartment. She thought the Canadian government should give her a “special” pension because she had been involved in the arts. Our friendship ended when she bashed the former Canadian PM Harper and started lauding Trudeau. She thought “For sure now I will get that Arts Pension” She is still waiting.

  8. It’s gold nuggets such as these that make me treasure Schlichter:

Dick Blumenthal hasn’t been so upset since Charlie was in the wire around New Haven during the Tet Offensive.

…taking erotic advice from a feminist is like taking driving lessons from a Kennedy.

Come to think of it, that 2nd one could be driving lessons, skiing lessons, or pilot lessons. /-:
