Decades ago, in a time of not much money, my sister brought home a discarded, trimmed off branch of someone else’s Christmas tree. It was all we had for a tree that year, but it was lovely for us after we decorated it. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and love is what makes Christmas a celebration of joy.
