Noah fence, but usually the kind of person who shops at a drugstore for slippers is the kind of person who would enjoy loud clothing items. ;b
That being said, there have been a few times when I find something on clearance at a store and just need to snip off an ugly pom pom or zipper or bow or whatever. No biggie.

I would have been happy with two hair balls on the slipper toes from the drug store. (easy to fix) My slippers from the drug store came with both slippers lefties. Now I wander in circles but my feet are warm. My days in the service taught me to live with minor defects,

The fuzzy puffs are there for those who don’t know which end is the front of the slipper.
You can carry the slippers around if you push the puffs through the belt loops on one’s jeans.
The fuzzy puffs are handy for , uh, … I’m thinking.
