House and Senate Democrats say they refuse to fund a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border to stop soaring illegal immigration because it is too expensive and wasteful. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called a border wall “immoral, expensive, ineffective, not something that people do between countries,” Breitbart News reported.
Last year, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said a border wall would be “very expensive” and asked, “Why don’t we use that money for roads?” Likewise, Republican establishment lawmakers have claimed the border wall is too costly for them to support. more here

Appropriation Bills are so massive that nobody reads the shit. It’s all done by Committee staff. Those staff members get quite rich (or influential, which in DC is the same thing) by shoving in a line or two that enriches a specific person or corporation at the expense of the taxpayers.
“Any company incorporated on the __ day of __ in the year ____ in So-and-So County, the Great State of ___ at 10:23 AM is hereby exempt from all Federal Taxes for Five years.” Will be hidden in the morass of a 1200-page Appropriation Bill. There is, of course, only ONE Corporation that meets the criteria – and pays handsomely for that sentence.
Think I’m making this up? Quail on Cocaine? Donkey hunting? Scrimp on a Treadmill? Money is thrown into Academia (for instance) to keep them sucking on the Federal and State teats – not to improve education. “Green” Energy is another popular scam – watch it take off when Pelosi grabs the gavel.
