It’s getting worse for Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax (D-VA) – IOTW Report

It’s getting worse for Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax (D-VA)

DC: Democratic Virginia Rep. Jennifer Wexton declared that she believes the woman who has accused her state’s lieutenant governor of sexual assault, in a tweet Wednesday.

“I believe Vanessa Tyson,” Wexton wrote on Twitter.

Freshman lawmaker Wexton is the first major Democratic politician to support Tyson, according to Business Insider.

Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax’s accuser released a statement Wednesday and said she met Fairfax, a Democrat, at the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston. The alleged sexual assault occurred after they had met each other several times, Tyson said.

“What began as consensual kissing quickly turned into a sexual assault,” she wrote in her statement.

Fairfax has refuted the allegations and has appeared to hint his political rivals are behind the accusation. MORE

It gets worse…

Breitbart: National Organization for Women Calls on Justin Fairfax to Resign.

“We believe and support survivors,” it continued. “This is more important than who is going to be the next governor of Virginia. This isn’t about politics. It’s about a woman who has experienced sexual assault — a serious crime – at the hands of a powerful man, who is now attacking her character.”

Breitbart: Report–Democrat Justin Fairfax Lashes Out at Sex Assault Accuser: ‘F**k That B*tch’.

Virginia’s Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax said “fuck that bitch” in reference to his accuser during a private meeting where he attempted to discredit her, according to NBC News.

Earlier this week, and thanks only to alternative media, we learned that Dr. Vanessa Tyson, a professor of politics at Scripps College in Claremont, California, told the Washington Post in late 2017 that Fairfax, a Democrat, forced her to perform oral sex on him in a hotel room during the 2004 Democrat National Convention. He denies any wrongdoing and says the sexual encounter was consensual.

The Washington Post chose not to report the story, even though Tyson’s account contained more details — like a time and place for the alleged encounter — than the story of Christine Blasey Ford, which the Post published without corroboration. But after Big League Politics broke it on Monday, both Fairfax and the Post were forced to address it.  MORE

WFB: Rep. Bobby Scott (D., Va.) was made aware of the sexual assault allegation against now-Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax (D., Va.) in 2017, more than a year before the accuser went public.

Dr. Vanessa Tyson, who released her official statement detailing the alleged 2004 sexual assault on Wednesday, told Scott in October 2017 she was “not a fan” of then-candidate Fairfax. She would later contact Scott in late-November through email, where she expressed her dislike for Fairfax and told Scott she wanted to talk about it, according to ABC News.

Aides to Scott maintain that he was not made aware at that point about an alleged sexual assault in 2004 involving Fairfax.

In a text message exchange between Scott and Tyson in December 2017, she informed him that the now-Lieutenant Governor-Elect had a “MeToo allegation,” but at the time the congressman did not know that she was the accuser, according to aides.  MORE

  1. I still maintain that with those choppers, she could have left damning evidence…….

  2. I don’t know who to believe or not believe anymore, but I will say that Vanessa Tyson seems far more credible and believable than Christine Blasey Ford did while using her scared little girl voice to make her uncorroborated accusations.

More credible by far, and in a very big way.

  3. Doesn’t that punk know that only Bill Clinton can get away with that? Too late sunny, the bloods in the water and the feeding frenzy is just getting started.
    Enjoying the show!

  4. The dems have put themselves in a box. After the recent histrionics of the Kavanaugh hearings they can’t ignore another accusation about rape. Now they’re almost required to speak up. Too funny

    Absolutely!

Of course, it’s still total bullsh*t. I mean, not that there’s anything wrong with that.

  6. If I understand the Kavanaugh Principle correctly, shouldn’t the media be interviewing Fairfax’s wife about their pending divorce and threatening to take his kids away from him?

OTOH, that might be exactly what he wants.
