Breitbart: While railing against border walls at his El Paso, Texas, rally on Monday evening, Rep. Beto O’Rourke stood safely on a stage that walled off supporters behind barriers, fences, and barricades.
“Walls do not save lives. Walls end lives,” O’Rourke said at his pro-open borders rally in El Paso that dueled with President Trump’s rally blocks away.
“In the last ten years, more than 4,000 children, woman, and men, have died trying to come to this country to work jobs that no one will take, to be with a family member, to flee horrific brutality, violence, and death in their home countries,” O’Rourke said, falsely claiming that Americans are unwilling to take blue-collar U.S. jobs.
O’Rourke railed against border walls at the U.S.-Mexico border while enjoying personal security at his rally. Located at the Chalio Acosta Sports Center in El Paso, O’Rourke’s rally came with baseball field fences — already on the property and not placed there by O’Rourke’s staff — that walled off onlookers and kept the congressman’s stage secure from the back.

Clinton made a swing through the first-in-the-nation primary state over the holiday weekend to meet with grassroots organizers and march in the parade. But it was her campaign’s treatment of the press that is once again causing a stir.

Hi! I found this website after looking through photos on Google of the AMAZING protest from Monday! On that day, while getting ready to meet at Bowie HS at 5PM, I searched my room for a little FLAG OF MEXICO in my room, to bring to the rally! Because El Paso is a BORDER CITY. The majority are HISPANICS! Go anywhere and you’ll hear us El Pasoans speaking Spanish! How horrible of us! We have a safe-zone called Fort Bliss for any racist afraid of us “wetbacks”, I promise, we are everywhere. 🙂
I want to REPRESENT MY CULTURE, my HERITAGE. Knowing fearful idiots will point out that we were “carrying the wrong flag”. Just to pour a little more salt, I am a proud indigenous American; our tribes did not have FLAGS. The stars and stripes represent the 13 COLONIES and 50 STATES, a mark to show the white man’s conquering of the former land. We have no flag, but I have my flag of Mexico– with an eagle resting on a nopal, holding a snake in it’s talons– a depiction of an Aztec legend, of how the land of Mexico was found. I proudly carry that flag like any American studying abroad in his Chinese neighbors home, he carries a little American flag so his fragile patriotism won’t die.
If I had one, I would have carried the FLAG OF COLOMBIA — the country where my mom is from.
