Don’t presume that his betrayal of those troopers would automatically deep-six his campaign. I have an uncomfortable feeling there are a lot more Democrats, progressives, socialists or whatever out there that quietly cheered the deaths of those brave warriors. Maybe enough to shift the nomination battle especially if the “moderates” see it as a choice between him and something like a Bernie Sanders.

I don’t wear tinfoil on my head but I’m not entirely sure that biden, obama clinton, kerry, rice, powers, et al, considered the release of the SEALs info to be “an unfortunate mistake”. In my opinion, it’s a statistically rare occurrence that such actors can be so consistently on the wrong side of history and decisions to the benefit of the USA.

Failure to support Americans during the Benghazi attack didn’t doom Obama’s reelection ( he still had enough support to get close enough for vote fraud to shove him onward into a second term), and it also didn’t doom Hillary from running four years later. However, her failure in Benghazi May have been one factor, among many others, helped her lose.
