American Thinker: When Democrats lost to a non-politician in 2016, they could not swallow the failure and began to degrade their opponent’s victory (by manufacturing “Russia collusion”), insult people who voted for the winner (calling them racist), and assassinate the character of the winner (calling him a dictator). To make the case for the third act, they invented a story that Donald Trump likes dictators and wants to be one and will not leave office if not elected in 2020. But his actions show the opposite. Trump does not want to be a king or a dictator, while his predecessors behaved as if they wanted to be.
To demonstrate this fact, I will provide examples of what Trump has not done and what King Barack H. Obama and King George W. Bush did. Here is a list:
- Trump does not invite singers and performers to the White House to sing and perform for him and his family, while Obama and Bush did. They sat like kings and used our tax money to be entertained.
- Trump does not go to Kennedy Center honors or Mark Twain prize ceremonies to sit in a special place and be watched by the crowd as a king.
- Trump does not perform at the White House Correspondents’ dinner as the chief of the country. He does not care about entertaining the media and being praised by them.
Hopefully stories like this, coupled with more and more outrageous behavior by Dems will peel off their support and improve Trump’s chances of re-election.
Trump does not view himself as royalty, in fact I think he would resent the suggestion. Part of the problem with our electorate is that they seem to romanticize about American royalty. How else do you explain the Kennedy’s, Clinton’s, Bush’s and any other multi generational family that doesn’t seem to do anything other than run for office and get richer and richer.
Trump has ‘been there done that’ – unlike street sleaze like the obamas. He doesnt need the aggrevation any more than a rich patriot like George Washington did.
Just imagine if the likes of jeb! Bush was in Washington’s place in 1776. Worse: hillary clinton. (She’s be trying to sell uranium, though no one would know what to do with it.)
Trump gave our country a second chance. He pulled ot from the precipice.
The guy belings on Mr. Rushmore.
I wish articles like this got as much widespread readership as the various MSM do.
But they don’t, and most people reading them are already aware of what they are saying without having to read them to find out.
Hell, the media are still gushing over the royal family even after we kicked them out. Much easier to be ruled over than to have to make your own decisions.
Well, it *was* the patriots of this country who kicked out King George and his parliament, after all…
I could just see POTUS Trump back in colonial days of the Revolution. That is so easy to imagine.
Trump donates his Presidential salary to charity. This one alone should headline the article.
How lucky were we that there was a super-rich super-smart patriot that had a clear vision of what is needed, and has been willing to do the non-stop work to make things right and willing to take the non-stop criticism?
So impossibly lucky that I’m going with blessed by God instead.
