  2. To everyone at IOTWReport, may the RISEN Christ be in your heart and may you have time to celebrate with family and friends. Our “dash” is short. Relationships are important. This is our first Easter without mom as she went home to see Jesus back on Christmas Eve. Thankfully, we know we will see her again some day, but she is with the RISEN Christ eternally. May each of y’all be able to do the same! Happy Easter from Mrs Chiggerbug and me…..and God bless you today!

  3. John 3:16-19

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.

  5. …the tomb is empty.
    …my heart is full.
    …my Lord is risen.
    …to rule it all.

Thank God for the Lord Jesus Christ.

5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

  6. Mankind has no greater hope – no greater gift.

Though it seems dark, with all the lies, the filth, and the perversions which rot our souls – on display, encouraged, and ascendant – permeating every aspect of our lives and polluting the minds of the young; we must hold to the Truth.

The Truth, The Light, and The Way.

  7. Without God’s forgiveness and grace and mercy I don’t know where I’d be and more than likely it wouldn’t be good. God rolled the stone away for me way back in Sept. 1972 when I was 19. I’m am thankful everyday for his gift of life because with out it I would be lost and never would have experienced all the good things in life I’ve had since then including marrying my beautiful wife, having 3 children with her (and now 4 grandchildren) and the other assorted blessings over the last 47 years. I am a much better man for my salvation by Jesus who died on the Cross to forgive my sins. Have a blessed Easter today everyone.

  8. …what a wonderful praise you do to give God the glory for your life, @geoff the aardvark! Thank you for that testimony on this special day, and may God bless you for obeying Him to give it, as you have blessed me and all at IOTW with it.

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

    -Hebrews 10:24-25

  9. Thank you, Jesus Christ! Thank you for Your life, Your death and Your resurrection! May my life be to honor You until the day You receive me in Your glory!

    Happy Easter, everyone!

“I also gave my life to Christ in 79′, I was on the wide path to perdition but He saved me, forgave me and made me whole!

Praise Him! For He is good!”

…and thank you for your testimony as well, Anonymous. The Lord does forgive when his sheep finally hear his voice, however far they may stray. I am proof of that.

I was raised Catholic and, as such, steeped in ritual and rote, but not alive in the blood of the Lord. Because I felt no spirit at the cold feet of the beautiful, empty statues, I strayed away even from that.

I came to the Lord late because of that, even though looking back He had held His hand over me and saved my physical life many times as I dealt with chaos and fire as a younger man, but now I believe that’s because God knew I would come to him, once life had humbled me enough to listen.

I finally came to him in the winter of ’08, when I stood to lose my family, my job, my house, my posessions, and maybe my life due to my own foolishness. God called me and my spouse to His church one day, having set it up with a chance meeting with the better half’s former pastor MONTHS earlier, when I was still proud and arrogant and didn’t think I needed Him.

But He kept me from throwing that card away.

So, when I was trying to find a way out of the mess I made, He had me find that card.

We sat in the back among complete strangers who somehow loved us, and I was sweating and shuffling and wondering why in the world I was there.

Then the Pastor made an alter call.

To this day I do not remember making the trip, but I was told I RAN to the alter. Much was said, tears were shed, but in the end my sorry soul was made worthy by the precious blood of my Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who even restored all the loved ones and worldly things to me that by rights I had forfeited by my own hand. It was a struggle for me to stay in his way to start, but when He provided the Spirit it was sufficient for my needs, and I have not strayed from his voice ever since.

And for this, I praise Him and thank Him, for that and for all He does.

    For He does ALL.

All praise and glory to the Lord on His resurrection day. Only a Blood-drenched Cross and an empty Tomb make us worthy of Heaven.

  11. Brothers and sisters,

I pray that each of you will receive the following as a seed of truth and seek for yourselves, receiving guidance by the Holy Spirit, testing all things to scripture and not the doctrines and traditions of men.

    ————————-
The term feasts in Hebrew (HaMoyadim) literally means “appointed times.” Elohim has carefully planned and orchestrated the timing and sequence of each of these seven feasts to reveal to us a special story. These feasts are often called “holy convocations” (translated “rehearsal”) and are intended to be a time of meeting between Elohim and man for “holy purposes.” Since these seven feasts of YHWH are “appointed times” for “set-apart purposes,” they carry with them great sacredness and solemnity.

Four of the seven holidays occur during the springtime. The first four feasts (Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, and Weeks) have already been fulfilled by Yahushua in the Brit Hadasha (New Testament). The final three holidays ( Trumpets, Yom Kippur, and Tabernacles) occur during the fall within a brief fifteen-day period in the seventh Hebrew month of Tishri; Tishri corresponds to the months of September/October on the Gregorian calendar. These fall feasts have not yet been fulfilled. However, these events most assuredly will unfold in Elohim’s timing. As the four spring feasts (holidays) were fulfilled literally and right on schedule in connection with Messiah’s first coming, these three fall feasts (holidays) will likewise be fulfilled literally and right on schedule in connection to the Messiah’s second coming. These final three feasts form the basis for what the Bible calls in Titus 2:13: “the blessed hope.”

Leviticus 23:4 “‘These are YHWH’S appointed feasts, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times:

Titus 2:13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great Elohim and Savior, Yahushua Messiah,

If you would take the time to read the entirety at the above link or even read the whole of scripture without the heretical lenses of dispensational/parallelism/replacement theologies, you will see that there was/is/will ever be, one plan of redemption and it applies to ALL who take hold of the covenants of YHWH. Before the literal Passover, one had to be physically circumcised to partake, now it is our heart that must be circumcised.

    Exodus 12:

42 It is a night to be much observed unto יהוה for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of יהוה to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.
43 And יהוה said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:
44 But every man’s servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.
45 A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.
46 In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.
47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to יהוה, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
50 Thus did all the children of Israel; as יהוה commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
51 And it came to pass the selfsame day, that יהוה did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.

    The [RE]NEW[ED] covenant:

27 Behold, the days come, saith יהוה, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.
28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith יהוה.
29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.
30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
31 Behold, the days come, saith יהוה, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith יהוה:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith יהוה, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know יהוה: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith יהוה; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
35 Thus saith יהוה, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; יהוה of hosts is his name:
36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith יהוה, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
37 Thus saith יהוה; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith יהוה.
38 Behold, the days come, saith יהוה, that the city shall be built to יהוה from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
39 And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto יהוה; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.

May YHWH, the Father, and our Saviour Yahshuah turn the light of their countenance upon you and the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) guide your steps in all things.

To Him be the power, honor, praise and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

  13. He is Risen!

May God Bless all of you on this most humbling day. Easter is always a joyous day for me, coupled with the nagging feeling of, “I’m not worthy.” Tough to keep the tears at bay, too…

  15. Have a Joyful Resurrection Day, everyone.
9 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

  16. Because He lives I can face tomorrow.
And for that I am eternally grateful. I don’t deserve God’s grace and mercy, but I am so thankful He extended it to me.
    Praise the Lord!
May you all have a Blessed Easter.
