DB: Avast majority of Americans agree that illegal immigration at the U.S. southern border has become a “crisis” or a “serious problem,” according to the Hill.
A new Washington Post/ABC News poll released today reveals that 45 percent of respondents say the number of illegal immigrants crossing the border is a “serious problem” and 35 percent say it is a “crisis.”
Support for the president’s overall position on illegal immigration has increased to 39 percent–up from 35 percent in 2017.
Seventy-four percent of Republicans agree with Trump’s stance on immigration.
Mark Morgan, who served as U.S. Border Patrol Chief under President Obama, recently described the illegal immigration crisis at the southern border as “the worst in our history.”

Unfortunately the 20% are mostly in government and identify as Democrats.
So 80% of the people seem to think immigration is a serious problem, but only 39% support Trump trying to do something about it.
