Laura Loomer Files $3 BILLION Lawsuit

(Palm Beach, Florida, July 9, 2019).

On Tuesday, Larry Klayman, the founder of Freedom Watch and a former federal prosecutor announced the filing of a defamation lawsuit by conservative investigative journalist Laura Loomer against Facebook. The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida (Case No. 9:19-cv-80893), alleges that Facebook and its wholly owned sister company Instagram, in banning Ms. Loomer from the social media sites, maliciously defamed her by publishing that she is a “dangerous individual” and a domestic Jewish terrorist.

  1. The Klayman quote was just a smidge too florid. It’s just a matter of style, but I would have chosen a bit different wording that would have — I’m not even sure how to say it — but it wouldn’t have read as snipe-y. If she’s got a case, she’s got a case. No need to take arguable shots at the defendants. Article didn’t say how he came out against CAIR and Twitter. $3,000,000,000.00 is going to be big pay day for him.

  2. This is a good thing, kick them as hard as you can in the pocket book. The love of money is all they have. Unfeather the nest, and own the bastards! Anybody else?
By the time they add damages and attorney fees, that could be serious money.
The aresoles brought this on themselves!

  3. @Dianny; MJA; Facebooks net value today is about 138 billion so a 3 billion lawsuit isn’t all that out of bounds especially with the right Judge. If Facebook loses and they try to appeal they have to have grounds and then put the judgment in cash in a bank account while the appeal goes through. I’m not sure how many appeals they can file but there is a limit. The main thing is that a win (or a close loss) will spawn a lot more lawsuits which is likely to force huge management and direction changes at Facebook and its’ associated companies and subsidiaries.
