Protesters Constantly Interrupted 2nd Night of Democratic Debate

KFI:

Last night was the second night of the Democrats’ presidential primary debates and it didn’t go without heckling from protesters. Front-runner of the Democratic party, Joe Biden, was dealt with chants of “three million deportations” during his response to his immigration policy.

This number referred to the number of illegal immigration deportations under the Obama administration. Biden wasn’t free from criticism on just his immigration policy but a lot of flack came from how the Affordable Care Act worked as well.

During the debate, Biden did not directly engage with the hecklers. He did however at one point during the shouting say,”If you cross the border illegally, you should be able to be sent back. If we let people in, what should we say to the other immigrants wanting to come to the U.S. around the world? … People should have to get in line.”

The protests didn’t stop with the former Vice President though. Sen. Cory Booker and Mayor Bill de Blasio were subject to yells as well.
