Conservatives hit back at the media

AT:

The anguish at the New York Times is palatable. The mothership of fake news is now complaining that conservative activists are scrutinizing journalists for signs of bias that can be found on the Internet and social media. The lead paragraph in the Times’ front-page story of lament is:

A loose network of conservative operatives allied with the White House is pursuing what they say will be an aggressive operation to discredit news organizations deemed hostile to President Trump by publicizing damaging information about journalists.

The most prominent member of the media exposed thus far is Tom Wright-Piersanti, editor at the political desk of the Times itself. After Breitbart exposed this bigot for mocking Jews and Indians, Wright-Piersanti was demoted by the Times (but not terminated). His excuse for his bigotry was that he was in college.

There are others. And through it all, the Times confesses that, although the information released so far is stripped of context – “context” meaning the excuses liberals give for themselves but not for others — it has been authentic and harmful to its targets.

Arthur Schwartz is a central player in this media exposure operation. When the NYT apologized for their editor’s ant-Semitic comments, Schwartz tweeted that if the people at the Times think this settles the matter, they’re wrong, adding that we have “lots more where this came from.” more

  1. “conservative operatives allied with the White House” Do you think they’re lying on purpose – or don’t actually know that the general public has caught onto them? Are they going to start calling anyone who calls them out a “conservative operative” in hopes of continuing to fool the gullible into believing their lies in hopes their agenda doesn’t die the cold hard death it deserves under the spotlight of truth?

We’re gonna need a basket for those “conservative operatives” that’s even bigger than the deplorable basket. Trump 2020

  2. “…by publicizing damaging information about journalists.”

IOW, publicizing the journos’ own words.

Hey, did you know that Bret Stephens once called Ted Cruz a “serpent”?. That’s some damaging information right there.

  3. Still need to tackle the hypocrisy of those on the left that say and demonstrate vile tendencies to hatred and racism get to give an apology, get a fake award and continue on. Of course they don’t mean it. Any perceived slight taken out of context by one not in their inner circle can vanish and ruin you for life.

  4. “His excuse for his bigotry was that he was in college.”

Oh, so it’s ok for you but not for Brett Kavanaugh? Invented claims of things he supposedly did in college was intended to end his career.

“His excuse for his bigotry was that he was in college.” – Hypocrite.

  5. Someone needs to just place a big sign over the “New York Times” on their building saying, “Notre Dame Cathedral”…and let the Leftists do the work for us.

  6. ^^^ not to mention attacking the high school students for wearing MAGA hats – when the students were the ones being attacked by commie “activists” – and then trying to destroy their futures.

  7. “A loose network of conservative operatives allied with the White House”. No, it’s just a bunch of independent people. You’re trying to tie it to the White House to smear Trump.

  8. Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals:
#4-“Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”
#5-“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”
    #8-“Keep the pressure on.”
#10-“Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”
Other Rules may apply – YMMV.
