Daily Signal: The U.S. health and human services secretary condemned efforts to provide international access to abortion at a United Nations conference Monday.
Secretary Alex Azar spoke Monday morning at the U.N. General Assembly in New York and told the gathered nations abortion is not an international right. Azar also condemned the use of “ambiguous terms and expressions such as ‘sexual and reproductive health and rights’ in U.N. documents.” more

“International right” is a fatally flawed concept.
Rights do not come from govts.
Rights inhere to human beings – persons – and nations can do no more than recognize and support those rights, or not.
By saying it is an “international right” means the US gets to pay for it!
Women can’t keep their legs closed, then disavow all responsibility after the fact.
