Oregon Woman Allegedly Mixed Meth Into Bean Dip Eaten By Co-workers

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An Albany woman is facing charges after she allegedly mixed meth into bean dip eaten by a coworker.

I thought Meth is supposed to make you skinny.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said 38-year-old Cassandra Medina-Hernandez was working at the deli at Jefferson Thriftway on Old Pacific Highway in Jefferson on Sept. 9 when she allegedly put meth into a serving of bean dip.

Another coworker went to the deli to get some food for her lunch break, according to probable cause documents. She said Medina-Hernandez let her try the dip she was making.

The victim like it so much that she took some home to eat during her break. She told investigators she thought a bite of the dip tasted funny but she didn’t think much of it. read more

  1. I’m telling ya’ folks, Portland is lousy with blooming idiots. I was down there once and a guy was sitting on the sidewalk with his legs spread holding a sign that said kick a punk in the nuts for a buck and was not wanting for customers.

Damndest thing. It was right next to Voodoo Donuts about midnight. I’ve never felt the urge to kick a stranger in the nuts, but then again I don’t understand gambling either. To each his own, I guess.

I used to stay downtown and walk around at night after dinner. It isn’t safe anymore.
