Biden Privilege – IOTW Report

Biden Privilege

CNS: By Michelle Malkin

I wrote the book on the Obama administration’s “Culture of Corruption” 10 years ago, including a thick and sordid chapter on the Beltway swamp creatures of the Biden family. See-no-evil liberals scoffed at my catalogue of back-scratching, shady Delaware deals and Wall Street funny money: What nepotism? What ethical lapses? What corruption?

Now, Hunter Biden himself, the youngest son of former Vice President and Democratic presidential front-runner Joe Biden, finally admitted this week what Daddy’s pooh-poohing pals have long (publicly) denied:

“I don’t think that there’s a lot of things that would have happened in my life if my last name wasn’t Biden,” Hunter confessed on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Tuesday.

Well, knock me over with a feather and plaster-cast my shocked face.

On cue, the Dems’ favorite “GOP strategist,” swamp lobbyist wife and anti-Trump loudmouth Ana Navarro Cardenas, cooed over Hunter’s “self-awareness” and “humility.” But even as the theatrically humbled Hunter admitted his privilege (staged the morning before Biden the Senior faced off for the fourth high-stakes Democratic presidential debate), he insisted he was as “qualified” as “anybody else” for his $50k-a-month gig at Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings.

After all, Hunter puffed: “I was vice chairman of the board of Amtrak for five years. I was the chairman of the board of the U.N. World Food Program. I was a lawyer for Boies Schiller Flexner, one of the most prestigious law firms in the world.”

Hold up, Sonny Boy. Reciting a litany of your unqualified domestic appointments to bolster the qualifications of your foreign gigs lacks — what’s the word? — self-awareness. more here

  1. “Lunch bucket Joe” the working class politician who rode the commuter trains into DC daily to represent the little guy.

It’s depressing to think that people swallowed this ridiculous story all these years.
Joe is an idiot and he represents idiots.

  2. The sad part is that exactly THIS sort of corruption is endemic.
Reid, Pelosi, Schumer, Ryan, et.al. are enriching themselves and their families at the expense of the American taxpayers.
There’s a REASON some old maggot like Steny Hoyer claws at every penny well past his sell date.

    Public “service?”
    My ass.

These Oligarchs are the grandest crooks in America.
And most of their thefts, corruptions, lies, extortions, exactions, and character assassinations are “legal” because they voted them “legal.” For instance; “insider” trading. What (allegedly) got Martha Stewart sent up the river is expressly “legal” when done by a politician! You could look it up!

Their hatred for (and of) America and their covetousness of ill-gotten power and stolen money, at the expense of the poor and middle-income, is manifesting itself in their attacks upon President Trump and the consequent sitting idly by the (so-called) Republicans.

Joe is just one of the more glaring examples – he’s too dumb to shut up.
But make no mistakes – many are doing it – the same or similar scams – and, as in any assault upon a defensive position, any breach can prove fatal.

  3. According to Exxon-Mobil’s 2019 Proxy statement to shareholders, non-employee directors received annual compensation in 2018 of $110,000 plus reasonable expenses. They also receive 2500 restricted shares of Exxon stock. Burisma reportedly paid H Biden $50-60,000 per month, plus who knows what other “perks.” That seems like pretty good privilege for Joe’s little boy. How does our MSM investigative reporters not spend about 10 minutes on Google to find these comparisons.

    According to Merriam-Webster:

    corruption noun

1a : dishonest or illegal behavior especially by powerful people (such as government officials or police officers)
b : inducement to wrong by improper or unlawful means (such as bribery)
c : a departure from the original or from what is pure or correct
    d : decay, decomposition

It is not “corrupt” if it is legal. (“Legal”, subject to change without notice.)
It is not “corrupt” if it is not dishonest. (Not being lied about, it’s right out there — even Goolag will tell you.)
It is not “improper” if it is by design. (see: “Legal”, subject to change without notice.)
“Same as it ever was” is not a departure from anything. (I’m sorry, if you need more, you shouldn’t be here.)
“Decay”? “Decomposition”? “That’s not who we are!” (see: “Same as it ever was”.)

It is “endemic” as a successful design. Tweaked when it ceases to deliver MOAR! of what it was designed for.
