Breitbart: Forecasters are predicting a blast of Arctic air will blanket most the United States next week with record-breaking temperatures.
“Update: The @NWS is forecasting almost 290 daily #cold records (including record lows and record cold highs) Monday-Wednesday from the Plains to the East Coast,” Jonathan Erdman, meteorologist with the Weather Channel tweeted on Saturday about the National Weather Service’s forecast.
“For much of the country east of the Rockies, the cold wave could mean temperatures of up to 30 degrees below average, according to CNN meteorologist Taylor Ward,” the New York Post reported. Ward said:
We are in a pattern where multiple waves of cold are moving in from Canada and impacting the Central and Eastern US.One wave of cold came in late last week, another is moving in today and tomorrow, and the coldest blast by far moves in early next week. KEEP READING
WTH? You guys keep stealing our snow and our cold. It hasn’t snowed yet in Southcentral Alaska (Fairbanks, yes) and people are getting cranky. Every flipping year.
Of course Greta Thunberg (distant cousin of Chucky and this year’s environmentalist pet) is off to the warmer climes Mexico and Chile. Funny how they follow the warm weather uh?
How dare you!

I hope mid-Florida catches a little temperature drop. Two things I miss about Ohio…York’s Steakhouse in Columbus, and snow.
Columbia Co, upstate ny. No snow yet, keep it in VT please. Rotator cup surgery is going to make it trouble..
I hate the cold. Down in the deep south the normal humidity coupled with a drop in temps produces a bone chilling cold. Up north where its much dryer the cold is much easier to handle {most of the time}. Humidity is what makes the big difference in how comfortable or uncomfortable you feel.
It was 36 when I checked this morning around 0600. Not bone chilling. I guess Ayanna Pressley will be donning her “thermal” weave next couple of days.
More climate change on it’s way! Warm today cold tomorrow! Darn the four seasons!
Hey Second Class, Dutchess County NY says the same, good luck with the surgery. I hope it’s at NDH
The forecast for Tuesday in the Peoples Republic of Maryland is rain changing to snow as the temp DROPS from the mid 40s to the low 20s throughout the day.
Should I buy my milk, bread and toilet paper today or wait for the mad rush on Tuesday?
Like their ideas, I’d like them to keep their weather on that side of the border.
Grool, did you ever dine at One Nation Restaurant (top of the Nationwide building)? It is closed now, but that is where I worked to put myself thru college.

I believe that’s the Woolen Whoopie model.
Dropping into the 70’s for the hi temp today. But, you know, it’s Phoenix. I get tired of shoveling sunshine off my driveway.
Shoveling sunshine! Ha
Can you send some of that sunshine our way up here in the Inland NW. It’s gray and damp and foggy out right now and semi cold but not as bad as it will be on the other side of the Continental divide. That’s what the Great plains gets for not having mountains to block the cold air coming out of Canada.
We had 67 degrees yesterday, its 25 outside now. almost time to retreat to AZ for the winter.
It was 36 degrees last weekend when I ran my annual PT test in central Georgia.
This was quite chilly, but tolerable.
It was a sunny 39F at 8am at mid-coastal Georgia.
Beachgirl and I drove up to sunny Savannah, GA. It warmed up to 68F-70F by mid-afternoon.
They are projecting a high of 53 F on Wednesday. It’s not too bad if it’s calm and the sun is shining.
