Rep. Jim Banks (R-Indiana) calls for Adam Schiff’s phone records to be subpoenaed – it’s only fair

BPR:

Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., penned a Fox News op-ed Sunday calling for Rep. Adam Schiff’s phone records to be subpoenaed, after the Democratic chairman of the House Intelligence Committee obtained phone records as part of his party’s partisan impeachment inquiry and released them.

Included in phone records Schiff subpoenaed were calls involving Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., ranking member on the Intelligence Committee, as well as President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and investigative reporter John Solomon.

“I join many Americans in being sick and tired of powerful, entrenched Democrats like House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff breaking rules, crossing the line and never being held accountable,” Banks wrote. “This is why I’ve called for a tit for tat. I want Schiff’s phone records to be subpoenaed by the only person in Washington with the power and opportunity to do it.”

That being Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. MORE

  1. …you will get nothing. The Democrats are in power in the House, and will simply say “No”. At best, you’ll be told they won’t do it to “protect the whistleblower”.

…no Democrat will ne called to account unless the President dispatches Marines to the House, or the People take matters into their own hands as the Constitution provides. Until then, you will get nothing but fraud based Articles of Impeachment from them.

    NOTHING.

…they are NOT going to GIVE.

…so you SHOULD be making plans to TAKE.

  2. Work it so the refusal to provide them will make it look like something very suspicious and it will give rise to conspiracy theories that will have to be addressed by providing them because not addressing them with the actual records will look like a it’s confirming them.

  3. Wait and see if the courts rule in Nunes’ favor that Schiff broke existing law. It’s a slippery slope.
If there is no legal standing against it, then win back the House and get ’em all.

  4. I’m guessing, at least at this point, that he will be unsuccessful.

Schiff’s got to much to hide to take a chance on his phone records exposing or pointing the way to it.

Unlike Trump who provided the Ukraine call transcripts before even being asked to do it.

The reason being that one is guilty and the other innocent, figure out for yourself which is which.
