Do you know what spurred the writing of I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas in 1942? It was because of the heatwave year after year. They are dreaming of a white Christmas because there hadn’t been much snow due to the abnormally high temperatures over the prior few years. Can you imagine the hysteria if that happened in this era?
