Breitbart Europe: Polling stations have now closed on the United Kingdom’s 2019 snap election, the fifth national vote in Britain since 2014, and results are expected to roll in until early Friday morning.
While the first results may come in as quickly as an hour after the polls closed at 2200GMT, some of the most rural and remote areas — including the Scottish Islands where votes have to be brought to the mainland by boat — could take until Friday morning.
A so-called exit poll, based on interviews with voters as they leave polling stations across the country and trying to forecast the overall vote can legally be published immediately after 2200, when all polling stations close and its results can no longer influence would-be voters.
UPDATE 2203 — Exit polls suggest enormous Conservative majority, Labour collapse.
Have they checked the rental cars at Heathrow for uncounted ballots?
“Exit poll forecast: Con 368 seats, Lab 191, Lib Dems 13, SNP 55, Plaid 3, Green 1, Brexit 0, Others 19”
That’s a wallopin’ right there. Suck it, Corbyn.
I thought this was supposed to be a very close election.
So what exactly does this mean (policy wise) to a septic (what my English mate lovingly refers to me as, the sod!) like me?
Soros must not own the voting machines.
Soros must not own the voting machines.
It will be great if it is a majority government — none of this minority coalition stuff.
So does this mean that England may stem the tide of the muslime invasion? One can only hope.
How do you say “MAGA” in British?
@Anonymous – and the expectation was that the Brexit vote would easily fail.
@mrhanoverfist:
“MEGA”
“Make England Great Again!”
You say Make England British Again. It’s a good day for the Brits and for BREXIT!
It’s a global rise against globalism! Everywhere people are voting Nationalism against the globalist elitism. Gotta love it.
The one place votes don’t count is the monetary system. That will have to collapse under it’s own grotesque corrupt corpulence. We the people will pay the price in the short run, but if we do it right, the ‘elitists’ will never rise again.
I would expect the EU to become much more agreeable to terms after this election. Hopefully some of the other captured states of the EU will follow suit and shake free of their shackles as well.
Perhaps enough pressure can be brought to bear that can reform EU governance to better represent the citizens.
@Dr Tar: “Perhaps enough pressure can be brought to bear that can reform EU governance to better represent the citizens.”
The EU Commission consist of 28 UNELECTED members who take an oath to be loyal FIRST to the EU, second to their home country.
Fat chance getting ‘governance’ of any kind from an unelected anything. From that you get RULED, not governed.
live results …. for ‘live results’ I find myself having to hit the ‘refresh’ button …. hmmm

YES! Largest Conservative victory since 1987. Biggest Labour loss since 1935. Pound soars against the Euro on election news. The FTSE will follow when it opens at 8am UK time.
Political analysts are not needed after this election result. This election was about one thing only. BREXIT.
BREXIT. Get it done.
