DanBongino.com: Shortly after insisting there was an “emergency to our national election going on right now,” Congressman Cedric Richmond (D-LA) was called out for apparently watching a golf tournament on his laptop during last night’s Judiciary Committee impeachment articles markup.
GOP Rapid Response Director Steve Guest tweeted a video of Richmond during the hearing and wrote,“What on earth is Democrat Rep. Cedric Richmond watching on his laptop during this impeachment markup? To me, it looks like Rep. Richmond is watching the President’s Cup golf tournament. Richmond’s actions are a DISGRACE.” watch
Correction, he was watching the caddy, he needs to think about his future after this.
The Democrats seem over confident of a victory of some kind coming from this.
Maybe they’ll learn that you should never be confident of a victory till you’ve achieved it.
What you put into the world tends to be what comes back to you.
In putting his priorities in order this probably makes sense. That gives him an opportunity to be watching an honest group of guys, at least until Patrick Reed finds himself in a sand trap.

Bullshit. Richmond knew this was political theater, and had already been given his marching instructions by Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler. He could have telephoned in his vote, or given his proxy to Nadler for all of the good any “deliberations” did. Instead, he watched golf. Good – at least he was doing something productive with his time instead of pretending he cares anything about the American people. Richmond knew that he was going to vote as he was told to vote, and probably resented having to actually be present.
It seems like the Democrats have realized they can’t steal the election with their phony GPS Fusion/Christopher Steele/FISA Court shenanigans (those Russians can be so unreliable), so they are returning to their roots of good old fashioned Congressional lies and fraud.

This has one primary goal and one latent goal and you can argue about which is which. It is to taint any future Supreme Court pick in the next year and then to put a little “impeached” asterisk next to his name.
