AOC has a problem – she needs to purchase health insurance, and she simply has way too many plans to choose from!

Talk about a first world problem. “Members of Congress also have to buy their plans off the exchange. They are Gold plans that are partially subsidized,” she wrote in a tweet. “That means I get to ‘choose’ between 66 complex financial products.” Who knew her economics degree couldn’t even prepare her for this?

“This is absurd…. no one should go through this,” she concluded, as if she just suffered a great trauma.

  7. I’ve only got 1 plan to choose from. My social security check will go up 1.6% as a cost of living increase while my Medicare payout went up 6%….My water/sewer/trash hauling bill has gone up 80% in the last 3 years….I don’t think the government understands what cost of living is….

  16. I was a federal employee beginning 1977 until I retired 2 years ago. We had to choose a health care plan every year from a smorgasbord of options. Everyone from a new GS-1 clerk to grizzled old top management and all in between could read and understand the plans. They are sales brochures from the various companies written in simple plain English so that even the most thick headed civil servant can understand them. My only conclusion is AOC is incredibly stupid. She has no reading comprehension.

  19. choices, choices …. had the privilege of working for a company for 36 years (max vestment) so I could retire w/ 2 choices in health care … Medicrap or Supplemental offered by the company (still get the privilege of paying for the Medicrap too)

    & now you whine about being subsidize by my tax $ … suck it up, buttercup
