Breitbart: Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) reacted to the House impeaching President Donald Trump on Wednesday, predicting the articles against the president will meet a “quick demise” in a Senate trial.
Graham, who serves as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, previously suggested he and his Republican colleagues will seek to hold a swift trial. In an interview with the Fox News Channel last week, the South Carolina Republican stated he is “ready to go,” adding that his “goal” is to “end this as soon as possible.”
“I don’t want to give it any legitimacy because it’s a crock,” he told America’s Newsroom. “My goal is to end this as soon as possible for the good of the country because I think it’s a danger to the presidency to legitimize this.” read more
I can understand Miss Lindsey wants this to be quick, but I’m hoping for The Trump Team to call a parade of witnesses and eventually get the donkeys to beg for mercy. Miss Lindsey is a dirty POS and wants this to go away as fast as possible.

If they go for the trial and not a dismissal then the Senate GOP and Trump have to factor in Roberts as Judge (the Senate can make the rules but a Judge enforces or I would think can overrule them) and he allowed ObamaCare in and there are RINO GOP Senators that may be willing to take Koch money to vote guilty. There are so many snakes out there that the best thing may just to be for the Senate to dismiss the charge because the Dems failed to prove anything.
On the other hand, go for broke and hold a trial and if Trump is removed then Pence becomes President who promptly appoints Trump as his Vice-President then resigns making Trump the President who then appoints Pence as his Vice-President.

Graham does not want any trial because he is in this corruption up to his neck.
