Meadows Won’t Seek Reelection, Says His Work With Trump “Is Only Beginning”

Bongino.com: Chairman of the House Freedom Caucus Mark Meadows (R-NC) announced today he will not seek reelection, however, he hinted that he will continue to work with President Trump and his administration in some capacity.

In a statement released today, Meadows writes, “This was a decision I struggled with greatly. These last 8 years, I have been so blessed to serve the people of NC-11 and help give a voice to millions of Americans who feel Washington, D.C. has forgotten them.”

Meadows said his work with President Trump and his administration “is only beginning” and praised the commander in chief for all of his accomplishments over the past three years.

“I’m fully committed to staying in the fight with him and his team to build on those successes and deliver on his promises for the years to come,” he states.

“I’ve always said Congress is a temporary job, but the fight to return Washington, DC to its rightful owner, We The People, has only just begun.”

  1. Seems like a lot of Republicans are leaving the House this time.

Or maybe I’m just more aware of the numbers this time around with the current political conditions.

Anyone paying attention to it and what are they predicting for the upcoming elections?

  2. What Engelburka Engelburka said. The Dems win every time we have to move people out of Congress to fight the Deep State elsewhere.. I’m getting less encouraged that we will take back the House next year.
