Patriot Retort: 2019 went out with a bang in Baghdad. Iranian-backed militias attempted to storm the US Embassy, and the news media quivered with gleeful anticipation that this would become President Trump’s own Benghazi. Because the American news media is garbage.

Hoping for American embassy personnel to die (that is in essence what they want to hear) is as low as the media can get.
This is rock bottom for Joy Reid and the rest.
It’s almost like the media is suggesting that the Benghazi murders were mishandled by obamaclintonbiden, and that they were hoping for President Trump to not know what to do.
Benghazi was left on their own, even if help could have arrived in time to extract the ambassador and staff.
The incident going on now is being responded to, and sounds like in an appropriate fashion.
I fail to see a comparison between the two
