Breitbart:
Martin Edward O’Connor, a hiker missing since before Christmas in the Grand Canyon National Park, was found by rangers with the National Park Service on Thursday.
The 58-year-old La Porte, Texas, native was airlifted from the inner canyon in which he was found yesterday morning and is currently undergoing a comprehensive medical evaluation, according to a statement from the Grand Canyon National Park. The statement outlined O’Connor’s rescue:
Gorgeous and impressive place to hike (have done so several times). Very dangerous place to get lost.
(BTW, Colin Fletcher’s 1967 book, “The Man Who Walked Through Time” is very good.)
This is probably the best time of year to be “lost” in the big ditch. Many more streams flowing and temperatures are more moderate.
If Petey B was lost in the wilderness for 11 days, he’d be living off dingleberries and wild boar cock.
Stupid people, Siri will tell you were you are if you get lost. Duh!
the compass was invented more than 2000 years ago
don’t leave home without it
how can you get lost in a landmark big enough to see from space?
once you are at the bottom you can only go two ways, upstream or downstream
he must have been too busy looing at his phone to see where he was going
He was found on the trail.
Something is missing in this story.
Depends on what the definition of lost is!
Excellent article that tells us only that he was found. And these asswipes are called journalists?
There’s lots of water and you can eat snakes.
