Floridian: The Republican congressional primary race to replace retiring Conservative Rep. Ted Yoho (R) has gotten a little more crowded as Dr. James St. George has decided to run for the hotly contested seat, and who hopes to “carry on Congressman Yoho’s commitment to our conservative principals and support of our President.”
Dr. St. George, a businessman, husband, father, and Eagle Scout stated in a press release that he was “ready to take off” his medical coat, “roll up” his sleeves, and work to help President Trump “heal our country.”
“Now more than ever we need members of Congress who support our President and represent our conservative values just as Congressman Yoho has done so honorably,” stated St. George “As a physician, I’ve help patients across North Florida with their medical needs, as a conservative Republican I’ve supported candidates locally who stand for our conservative principals, and as a father I was a leader in an organization that teaches our youth the value of strong morals and service to the community. With Congressman Yoho’s retirement, I am taking the next step in service, by declaring my candidacy for Florida’s 3rd Congressional District. I am ready to take off my white coat, roll up my sleeves, and get to work helping our President heal our country.” more here

Anyway, good luck Doc. But it’s a shame how so many GOP incumbents are bailing out this year.

I had been thinking about all the R’s that are leaving as well, but then it dawned on me.
This is the perfect time to have them leave and bring in new and younger people.
Trump is strong and many voters will be voting down ticket for the republican in the race. Perfect time to bring in the fresh faces and ride the Trump wave. If they were to try it with the Dem’s holding the White House it would make moving an incumbent out much harder.
Just like Trump is remaking the judiciary he can now reshape the legislative branch as well.
Let do all we can to Help President Trump and not only put him back in office but give him both the house and senate and remove useless RINO’s.

What better time to retire and let a younger conservative win election than now? The masks are off the Democrats and everyone sees they represent a bankrupt ideology, as well as just being anti-American dirtbags lusting for totalitarian power.
Yeah…NO. Physicians have a crummy record as Americans, but have a great record as Bolsheviks; they “grow” once in office and toe the bolshi line.
We lost a genuine Tea Party Conservative leader in Clifford Starnes when Yoho was elected over him by the RINO Republicans. They gerrymandered the district and nudged a fine representative of Jacksonville, FL out.
Anyone singing praises for Yoho needs to be looked at very closely. I doubt
that I will vote for St. George. And, I never voted for Yoho.
