Philippines Warns of ‘Hazardous Eruption’ After Volcano Spews Ash

Breitbart: The Philippines’ second-most active volcano erupted on Sunday, prompting warnings of a hazardous “volcanic tsunami” as tens of thousands of villagers were evacuated.

The eruption, which spewed a plume of ash a half a mile into the air, happened months after Taal— the volcano 40 miles from Manila— began exhibiting signs of disturbance, the New York Times reported.

Villagers reported rumbling sounds, booming noises, and tremors in the area. more
