Roberts Gives Priceless Look After Reading Warren’s Ridiculous Question

Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren submitted a nasty question for Chief Justice John Roberts to read on Thursday night. The question concerned the Chief Justice himself, and the look he gave Elizabeth Warren after reading it was priceless. 

“Mr. Chief Justice,” Warren dramatically announced. “I send a question to the desk.” 

Roberts then read the senator’s question aloud. 

“Does the fact that the Chief Justice is presiding over an impeachment trial in which GOP Senators have thus far refused to allow witnesses or evidence contribute to the loss of legitimacy of the Chief Justice, the Supreme Court, and the Constitution?” 

When Roberts finished reading the question, the look he shot Elizabeth Warren said it all. 

Lead impeachment manager Adam Schiff then tried to do damage control, saying the lack of new witnesses doesn’t reflect adversely on the Chief Justice at all but rather on the Senate, should they fail to do everything the Democrats are demanding.  watch

  14. Nothing says “I’m an IDIOT!” like asking a stupid, juvenile attempt at “Do you still beat your mother?”-type question which exposes the questioner’s complete and utter ignorance on the issue of “witnesses” (17) and “evidence” (there is no evidence of a nullity – ask Michelson and Morley).

    Just when the World thought that she couldn’t be-clown herself more thoroughly, she proves once again, that she’s totally unqualified for ANY office, however humble!

    She’d be entertaining if she weren’t so dangerous. It’s a pity that the Massholes can’t figure her out.

  16. The Dems are trying to make Roberts appear to be a vested participant in the impeachment trial rather than simply its referee or moderator. They can then claim that the outcome is illegitimate. This furthers their hopes to eventually expand the Supreme Court to create a permanent “progressive” majority.
