How to Make Homemade DIY Toilet Paper.

There is no denying that toilet paper is a great option that can be used and flushed. The process is seamless. However, for thousands of years, we survived without it.

  1. Don’t get me wrong I’m just like every other person out there and like my toilet paper. However, it still boggles my mind that people today can’t come up with a way to wipe their butt if they run out of toilet paper.

Lots of folks going to die if/when the SHTF. If they can’t figure out how to wipe their butt, then I don’t see them figuring out how to get their own food. Even if they could figure out how to shoot a deer, squirrel, rabbit, etc. they aren’t going to have a clue how to dress them.

Read someone on FB the other day complaining the store was sold out of frozen pizzas and frozen dinners and they don’t know how to cook. Several comments, even a lot of school teachers were agreeing they didn’t know even the first step in cooking. Finally some sane people started commenting and told them they best start learning or they were going to starve. lol

  2. @Old Racist White Wioman –

Every time I go to the store I see it full of milk, eggs and bakery products. Some days the commercial bread is full, some days about half gone.

The chicken and egg farmers aren’t going to stop.
The dairy cows aren’t going to stop giving milk.
The wheat and corn farmers across America aren’t going to stop any time soon.

So, with milk, eggs and bread, NO ONE IS GOING TO STARVE.

I’ve been mentioning this to people. “Oh, yeah, you’re right…”

Except Vegans (unless they garden). 🙂

  3. Jimmy, that’s right.

Last Saturday I ran into our local Sam’s Club to pick up an order. I was astounded at the chaos I found. Did not expect it in the Texas Panhandle. Guess common sense really isn’t so common, at all.

Anyway, besides the toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies, they’d cleaned out ALL of the boxed cereals, and most canned, frozen, and baked goods. But, there were pallets, and pallets stacked with sacks of flour, beans, rice, and sugar. A real crisis happens, with that kind of thinking, these idiots will all perish.

I’m even more grateful than ever our little patch of paradise is over two hours away from this newly discovered mecca of stoopid.

  4. Dried banana leaves work great, also, around here there is a weed called cows tongue, not to be confused with the cactus by the same name, lol.
A roll lasts me a coupla weeks, a wipe to get the big pieces, then warm water, soap and a wash cloth.
Doctors orders, my ‘riods haven’t bothered me in years.

  5. Just get a Buttigieg, Gillum, or Obola … hmmm … now that I think about it, Pelosi, O’Cortez, Tlaib, Omar, and Schumer are ass-wipes, too!

  6. @MolonLabe wins the internet today with his reply to Hambone! OMG!

But, making recycled paper is not that hard. I watched a lady from Georgia-Pacific demonstrate how to do it at a school Earth Day activity: Tear up old paper (magazines, receipts, junk mail) into 1″ pieces. Put about a half cup of pieces in a blender with a quart of water and pulse until it is all pulp. Pour into a dishpan with more water. Slide a piece of screen (she used needlepoint plastic mesh)UNDER the slurry. Stir the slurry around for a second and rapidly lift the screen up through the slurry. The paper fibers instantly knit together. Let dry and peel off the plastic. It has the texture of paper towels. Hardly any mess. Don’t dump the slurry down the sink, however, if you decide to try this.

  7. I guess it depends on where you live, in my area nobody can keep eggs and milk in stock. Unless you like skim milk, buttermilk or that stuff that is not milk, almond milk.
We have chickens so we don’t buy eggs and we don’t buy our milk at the grocery store.
