Breitbart:
The Anheuser-Busch beer company is on a mission to provide hand sanitizer to citizens across the nation during the Chinese coronavirus pandemic.
Saturday, the company tweeted that it was using its supply and logistics network to produce and distribute the bottles to people who need it most.
The company’s goal is to invest time in making a positive and lasting impact on others, especially during the current health crisis. read more
Will it be sold by the six pack or by the twelve pack?
“… people who need it most …”
People too fucking dumb to wash their hands with soap and water?
People too fucking dumb to splash some Isopropyl alcohol on their hands?
Good luck with that! Better be producing it by the Reservoir.
izlamo delenda est …
Distributed by the Red Cross? Probably won’t be seeing much of it then.
Another “necessary” product people insist on.
FYI, you can make foaming hand sanitizer from benzalkonium chloride (a landscape moss killer) diluted to 0.1% concentration (yes you read that right, point 1 percent), with a few drops of glycerin to aid in moisturizing. Put it in a re-purposed mousse bottle to make it foam. You’ve probably used it before in commercial establishments that have white foaming sanitizer, usually in a large pump bottle by entrances and bathrooms.
Each 8 oz bottle would cost a penny. And you can make gallons upon gallons upon gallons of it with one liter of benzalkonium chloride. Just be careful mixing it, full strength will burn the skin right off your hands. credit
If anyone here feels they NEED alcohol based hand sanitizer but can’t get it, send me your address and I will send you a fresh unopened 2012 expired 8 oz. bottle of 62% Purell for free. I have 7 of them to part with. Nevermind the expiration, it still works fine. Or goto your liquor store and get a bottle of everclear or any high proof alcohol and dilute your own.
Will it taste like beer?
what’s the legal limit?
Huh. I hope it’s better than their “beer.”
…so, they’re just re-labeling Bud Light?
…or is the taste just a coincidence?
…I remember it tasting like Purell 30 years ago, and they claim it’s the same recipe…
