KFI: Officials in Washington State are looking for six prisoners who are still on the loose after breaking out of Yakima County Jail. Officials said that on Monday (March 23) night, 14 prisoners managed to escape the facility after using a table to break down a fire door.
“They decided they were going to break down the door and leave,” said Yakima County Sheriff Robert Udell in a video posted on Facebook. “Despite the governor’s shelter-in-place or stay-at-home order, apparently they didn’t want to do that, so they are out and about.”
Authorities managed to capture eight of the escaped prisoners and are conducting a massive manhunt for the remaining six fugitives. read more
