Washington Sentinel- It may have taken the coronavirus to slap American companies upside the head to the fact that China is NOT a good place to do business.
A new report notes that since the coronavirus, the number of U.S. companies closing their businesses in China and moving back to the U.S. or to other countries is on the rise.
Kearney, a manufacturing consulting firm, released a report Tuesday noting that American manufacturing companies are leaving China en masse. The exodus started with the trade war between the U.S. and China but really picked up speed since the coronavirus scare began late last year. more
Damn Han can go schtupp theyselves
Its starting.
The cost of shipping containers will be dropping
The only thing that matters in this world as far as I’m concerned is that my Petey B doesn’t pull out of my unbleached elastic starfish.
Oh. And in case any of you were wondering why my Petey B has gone radio silent is because his mouth is really full!
Sounds good, but the article mentions no company names. I’ll believe this when I see a growing list of actual companies.
CHINA (never) signed “The Biological Weapons Convention (BWC)”
FDR cut-off Japan’s “oil” in 1940. Trump cut-off China’s dumping ground in 2018-19. Anyone see a pattern, yet?
“Anyone see a pattern, yet?”
Yeah – the fucking slants can’t figure shit out for themselves.
America blockaded Indonesian oil because Japan wouldn’t stop massacring chinks.
Japan had been rampaging over China since, what, 1932? Didn’t they consolidate in Manchuria after the Russo-Japanese War of 1905?
Fuck the Japs.
Fuck the Chinks.
Don’t expect them to be grateful, but … sheesh!
A pox on both their houses.

Yeah, let’s hope food companies are on that list because the list of food companies is huge.
I read yesterday about how a Smithfield processing plant in South Dakota had a bunch of people test positive for the Chinese Virus, well not surprising when you’re owned by the Chinese.
The only thing the Chinese will let leave is the foreign management. They will retain all property and production equipment for themselves and continue to produce whatever the companies manufactured. Will be up to our trade Representatives to filter out the products still being manufactured there under Chinese control. The Chinese will do their best to continue shipping product by sending through other countries to circumvent blockades or tariffs.
“The only thing the Chinese will let leave is the foreign management.”
Well, why not?
“Never give a sucker an even break.”

My fervent prayer is Trump seizes all Chinese assets in the US
They are not “American companies”. Any more than every empty
headedbelly that The United States Chamber of Commerce, insists is “just as ‘American'” as any-, every-, one else. Who will agree to come to The United States. To deliberately, explicitly, go to economic war. For The United States Chamber of Commerce. Against Americans.Bureaucracies created by. Existing at the whim of. Paying for the privilege (not, even by their own “standards”, right) of running a wholly owned bureaucracy of The United States government. Outside, even the political claims, of The United States government. Is not… can not… ever… be an American company. It’s just another branch of US, Inc. Doing what it was created, the only thing it was designed, to do.
(Their G-d! The economy’s in free fall. How expensive can it be? To hire a passable liar? Nowadays?)

Just Google “opens new location in India”.
Your welcome.
@Hoo Hoo
That would be substantial since China has been buying this country up for years.
It’s a start. Let’s hope for details about which companies are pulling out and where they are landing.
The Red Dragon will be thrashing around and breathing fire over this.
We will be hit with inflation twice. First when the fed starts printing money for the bailout, and second when everything is made in America Again and costs twice as much thanks to the unions. We have to do it, but be prepared because it’s going to hurt.
Want to know where these companies are moving, look no further then places like Vietnam, Brazil, Argentina, and the like. Thanks to the Commiecrats and their union thugs, few if any will be returning here.
I wish Castro would have pulled out of Turdeau’s Mom.

You have an “interesting” definition of “we”.
It will only benefit those who set it in motion.
It will only harm those they are already pillaging.
Who could, possibly, be this “we” you write of?
And which President relinquished control of the Panama Canal, which America built, that ended up being owned by China?
Oh that’s right. It was Jimmy Carter(D).
Democrats have been rat fucking us for most of my life.
Chasten’s back!
Right on you sick Bstrd!

The only way Castro could be that shithead’s daddy is if Maggie insisted on doing anal.
Good news if the report is accurate, and the company exodus increases.
It was be a pleasing unintended consequence backfire for the Chicoms creating the Wuhan virus in the Wuhan Institute of Virology’s P4 Lab and releasing it on the world. Either by accident or more likely on purpose.
@ Different Tim – I think you are correct. I used to work with a guy named Kevin. Previously for several years in the 1980s Kevin had worked for Siemens Medical Systems in the far east. He lived in Macau but every third month one of the employees was required to stay in Shanghai for a month to do field service work. Staying in an apartment owned by Siemens.
Kevin explained property ownership in communists China this way.
Siemens only owned the space within the apartment. The communists government owned the floor, walls, and ceiling. Plus any furniture supplied with the apartment. Siemens only owned about 6,400 cubic feet of air space about 100 feet above ground level, on the 10th floor of the building. It would be logical that the same system applies to factories today.
Reminds me of the cheap Chinese AK’s they were selling before the Clinton gun ban.
Afer Bush let that worthless POS of legislation lapse, several American companies started producing them, plus eastern bloc & middle eastern imports are available again. All of them better made than Norincrap
Who needs cheap Chinese anything?
Maybe we can onc again become a society that values quality & durability over what costs less.
The fact that the US of A has the fattest and richest “poor” people in the entire world is due to cheap shit! Come on man! Don’t you want the millions on welfare to have their vizio high def, color flat screens?
