On April 13, 1975, Lebanon was plunged into a civil war that destroyed the “Switzerland of the Middle East” forever. I lost my only brother and sibling in that war.
And since 25% of Arab Americans are Lebanese, I write this article in memory of the victims of that war. We can also derive important lessons for America today from the civil strife that devastated my native country.
First, a bit of history.
In 1920, after World War I, Greater Lebanon was declared a state and placed under the French Mandate in 1923.
Because the state had a Christian majority, the French mandated a Christian president and commander in chief, unlike any other country in the region.
In 1943, after independence from France, the major confessional communities (Christian, Sunni, Shiite) forged an unwritten National Pact. The president would always be a Maronite Christian, the prime minister a Sunni Muslim, and the house speaker a Shiite Muslim.
Lebanon enjoyed decades of prosperity under a free-market economy and was known to be the most democratic country in the Middle East, second only to Israel.
However, in a few decades, because of a higher birth rate, Lebanese Muslims outnumbered their Christian compatriots. more

Create a civilization that is the closest to a paradise on earth as humans can make it and eventually the radical violent Muslims will destroy it.
Look what they did to the library in Alexandria, Egypt. Trashed it and burned most of the books and scrolls. Centuries of learning were destroyed in an orgy of destruction.
F**K those people. I despise them, and the globalists responsible for allowing the savages to migrate to the UK, France, and the US.

Good point – I did realize that…the destruction of the Alexandria Library may be indicative of their collective stupidity and desire to destroy the west, even before Muhammed became their gang leader.
And I do not condone it happening in the west either, such as the Nazi book burning. It’s all just so terrible. Ignorance inflamed by hate.

Funny, last night I watched “Delta Force” again. Love that movie. In is Sid Ceasar talks about how everyone should have seen Lebanon years ago because it was so beautiful and fun.
Islamists destroy everything they touch.
A lot like Democrats.
Furthermore, I consider that islam must be destroyed.
I can remember when The Price Is Right gave out vacation trips to Beirut back in the early 70’s.
